Welcome to fall everyone!
I hope you all are as excited as I am that we are finally into the season of Pumpkin Spice and Pumpkin patches. Pretty soon you will see a kaleidoscope of colors throughout the forest trees as they transition into their winter slumber. What is your normal family routine for this time of year?

I know I have not been posting anything in a while, but like most I am transitioning the garden over for the Fall/Winter season. I plan on doing cover crops of sunflowers, carrots, wheat, and perennial flowers. I want to ensure to strengthen and stabilize our raised beds to withstand the winter cold. I will be posting images of the new crops soon so be on the look out for those.
Question: What is your normal routine at home and in the garden to prepare for the winter months?
Here are a few images of the life that dances through our gardens on the daily. I love to take as many images possible of all of the beautiful nature that surrounds me. Some things I’ve never seen before so I like to give you all a firsthand look of something you may have never seen before or a trip back down memory lane.
(Can anyone tell me what this beetle is called)
Enjoy this wonderful harvest season everyone and let the joy of giving be the driving force behind everything you do. HAPPY HARVEST
