Garden Update: Part 1

Hello everyone!

Welcome back and I hope you all have been having success with your gardens. Let me know how you are doing and if you have been having issues, please leave a comment of what those issues are and I will be happy to help out.

Here is a progress update from 6-9-2018 and most of what I planted did well. I did have many sprouts die off on me, so I had to plant new seedlings of things like; Spinach, Basil, Broccoli, and hot peppers. There will always be casualties along the way but don’t get discouraged, that is a normal process of growing. Keep trying and I guarantee you will be successful.

When watering seedlings remember to water when the top of your soil has started to dry out. Once you start to see what is called “true leaves” (pictured below)Message_1529010663374

Which are the second set of leaves that sprout once your plant has broken the surface. By this time you want to start watering your plants every three to five days.

Keep up the good work everyone and stay tuned for the next update.

Happy Gardening Everyone!
